Bvlgari Tubogas: The Art of Gold

Launch of the collection and the Bvlgari Studio project in São Paulo brings together iconic jewels and artistic innovation in a unique experience

The Tubogas collection by Bvlgari is a true tribute to the visionary spirit of Roman jewelry, focusing on the exclusive technique of flexible tubes that interlock without soldering to create jewelry combining style and malleability. Inspired by the curves of an industrial gas pipe from the 1920s, the technique was refined by Bvlgari in 1948 and achieved definitive prominence in the 1970s. With this collection, the brand revisits Tubogas with a contemporary approach, combining the classic shine of yellow gold – an enduring symbol of the Maison – with sophisticated and versatile designs ranging from simple pieces to jewelry adorned with colored stones.

To celebrate the arrival of Bvlgari Studio in Brazil and the launch of this new collection, the brand held an event at Cidade Jardim shopping mall in São Paulo, in the Home & Design space. Bringing together renowned celebrities and influencers such as Taís Araújo, André Lamoglia, Fernanda Lima and Pedro Scooby, the party was a true spectacle in the city. The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of an artistic installation by Leandro Vigas, an interactive and sensory creation inspired by the Tubogas collection. Over 10 meters long, the piece captures surrounding movements and responds with light effects, providing an immersive experience that envelops the viewer, much like Tubogas jewelry wraps around the body.

Beyond the glamour of the event, Bvlgari Studio introduced this platform as a global co-creation space, bringing together designers, musicians and artists of various nationalities and styles. The Tubogas collection and the Vigas installation will be available to the public until January 6, bringing a taste of Bvlgari’s tradition and innovation directly to the São Paulo audience. The collection can be explored at the Pop-In Shop inside the Bvlgari Boutique at Cidade Jardim shopping mall, where visitors will have the chance to get up close with the new jewelry and immerse themselves in the iconic Tubogas aesthetic.
