Carol Bassi launches new summer collection inspired by the Northern Hemisphere
With winter arriving here, the Northern Hemisphere is preparing to welcome the vibrant heat of summer, inspiring many to plan their holiday trips. In tune with this radiant season, the renowned brand Carol Bassi presents its Northern Hemisphere Summer collection, offering light and fresh pieces perfect for embracing summer dreams and adventures. This launch, marked by the brand’s timeless style, evokes the effervescent energy of 1960s London and the iconic Biba Boutique, a symbol of the fashion of the era.
Anna Carolina Bassi, co-founder of the brand, shares: “For me, the holiday season is a time to be with family and friends, to rest, disconnect and enjoy moments of relaxation and well-being. The 27-item collection will be unveiled in two phases: the first was revealed this month, and the second will be in July. The pieces, which include jackets, ponchos, dresses, cardigans, shirts, scarves, blouses, tank tops, vests, skirts and pants, harmoniously complement each other, offering not only convenience for the travel suitcase but also for the everyday wardrobe.
The color palette spans neutral tones such as off-white, black, navy and mélange, alongside vibrant hues like camel, light and dark denim, red, ivory, ice and dark blue, yellow, sky and Amazon. The chosen materials—silk, chiffon, lace, tweed, viscose, linen, poplin, twill, knit, crochet and denim—reaffirm the high quality of the pieces, ideal for enduring the high temperatures of the Northern Hemisphere summer.
Highlights of the collection include the Veda jacket, the Renee dress and the Emma scarf, as well as the Alice, Amelie, Veronica, Celestine, Tereza and Roxy families. All the pieces were designed to provide freshness during hot days and offer elegant layering options for cooler evenings.
