LM: What are your 5 favorite hotspots in the world and why?
YT: I was born and raised in Mallorca, so first on my list is Zaranda, located within the restored Castell Son Claret castle; the food is amazing and the setting is stunning.
I love a beach and wine day; next on my list is La Fontelina in Capri, the very definition of La Dolce Vita.
In summer, when I feel the need to escape the city, you’ll find me at Duryeas in the Hamptons. A Montauk classic serving the freshest seafood.
Miami is a quick flight from NYC, so I’m lucky to visit often; the cocktails at the Surf Club’s Champagne Bar are always elegant and sophisticated.
And last, but certainly not least, is Jondal in Ibiza. For me, long, relaxing beachside lunches are the new nightclubs.

LM: What are your favorite restaurants in NYC?
YT: During the week you can find me at the counter of Sushi Seki in Chelsea; it’s low-key, but it’s a fantastic spot with the best omakase.
On weekends, anywhere in the West Village works, but Sant Ambroeus is definitely my favorite.
Finally, at the top of my list is the undeniably delicious Carbone.

LM: The most special hotel you’ve ever stayed at?
YT: It’s so hard to choose! But there’s no place like home; at the top of my list is Cap Rocat in Mallorca. A 19th-century military fortress overlooking the ocean, transformed into a romantic hotel.
Second on the list is Airelles, Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez. The south of France is always a good idea.

“I am obsessed with skincare and have tried every product out there. However, my ethos is: keep it simple (kind of).”
LM: What is your skincare routine in the morning and at night? How much time do you have?
YT: I am obsessed with skincare and have tried every product out there. However, my ethos is: keep it simple (kind of).
In the morning, I wash my face with Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser, then follow with Sunday Riley’s C.E.O Vitamin C Lotion. I then moisturize with Drunk Elephant’s Lala Retro Whipped Cream (I’ve been using this for years) and finally apply Elta MD’s UV Clear SPF 46. The more sunscreen, the better in my opinion.
Now for the “kind of” simple part. In the evening I do what is called “Skin Cycling.” Instead of layering the same products every night, I rotate each product every four nights. This includes giving my skin two “rest days” where I apply only moisturizer. This prevents me from over-exfoliating or stressing out my skin.
To start, every night I double clean—first with Farmacy’s Green Clean balm and then with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser. Then the cycling rotation begins: on the first night of the week I use Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 followed by moisturizer. On the second night I apply the prescription retinoid Tretinoin 0.05% followed by my moisturizer. For the next two nights I don’t use any active ingredients; I simply wash and moisturize. On day five, the cycle begins again!

LM: What are your makeup must-haves?
YT: My latest must-have is MILK’s Future Fluid Undereye Concealer; although it’s super potent, it’s very lightweight.
At night, it’s always Chanel’s Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream. It gives me the most radiant, sun-kissed glow; a tan in a bottle.

LM: A hair product you can’t live without.
YT: My colorist Ariel Hauck is my secret weapon; she has been doing my hair for over 10 years and is a true artist.
I usually wash my hair only once a week and use Rahua Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner. I’m in the process of switching all of my products to non-toxic ones, and I love how gentle this set is on my color-treated hair.
After washing, I style my hair using T3 Volumizing Hot Rollers. I find that they give my hair that beautiful ’90s bounce that lasts throughout the weekend.

LM: What do you eat in a day?
YT: I’m only strict about my morning routine: as soon as I wake up, it’s warm water with lemon and apple cider vinegar. I follow that with overnight oats and coffee for breakfast.
For lunch, it’s a salad, and dinner depends on what my fiancé and I are in the mood for; we usually order sushi.

LM: What brand has been passed down from generation to generation in your family?
YT: I don’t think my family has favored any particular brand over the years. However, the idea of “never leaving the house without your face on” has been passed down from generation to generation, and that ideology stuck with me.

LM: 3 books that changed your life.
YT: “Tiny Beautiful Things” by Cheryl Strayed has accompanied me through many stages of my life. It’s raw, painfully moving, beautifully vulnerable, and offers perspective on life. I’ve gifted it countless times to friends when they were facing challenges (especially heartbreaks). It’s always my top recommendation!
However, psychological thrillers are my love language; especially Ruth Ware and Agatha Christie.

LM: What do you do to stay cool, calm, and serene in moments of stress?
YT: Working out helps me stay sane, and I typically go to the gym 5 to 6 days a week to boost my endorphins. Staying organized also helps me manage my stress. I keep a tight calendar, so I make my to-do lists and review them every night before bed. Knowing what’s coming up helps put me at ease and makes me feel equipped to tackle the next day.

LM: You got engaged. Congratulations!!! Besides the day of the proposal, what was the most special and loving moment spent with your fiancé? (Something very very simple and pure)
YT: Less than a month into dating, my now-fiancé ruptured his Achilles tendon and underwent intensive surgery that left him on crutches for months. Simple tasks, like taking a shower, became almost impossible for him to do on his own. I decided to move in with him to help him recover, and we spent every day together. The vulnerability of that situation brought us very close in a beautiful way, and we got engaged six months later.

LM: Do you have any hobbies?
YT: Working out! I try every workout class at least once. These days, it’s a lot of Pilates and incline treadmill walking (30/12/3!). Reading is a close second. And of course, shopping and styling are everyday activities that are very important to me.
