There’s no better way to celebrate the arrival of 2022 than with a big party and unforgettable celebrations. And for those who want to turn this festivity into a real event, the rooftop of Emiliano Rio is ready to offer a memorable New Year’s Eve with special adjustments and a gastronomic experience beyond magnificent.
Emiliano at Rio de Janeiro Brazil
The hotel, which opened in 2016, occupies the land of the former consulate of Austria and has a project by architect Arthur Casas, which in addition to bringing references from the city of Rio de Janeiro, also draws attention due to the inspirations of the modernist period and its subtle touch of the plastic artist Roberto Burle Marx.
The gastronomic experience will be in charge of chef Camilo Vanazzi, who created a special menu for the celebration with five different dishes and Champagne Moët & Chandon, wines, drinks and non-alcoholic drinks served at will.
Of course, there would be no party without music. The night’s soundtrack will be by Pretinho da Serrinha, also known as “The Mozart of Samba”. The singer has played since childhood and is a multi-instrumentalist who has played with several of the most influential artists in Brazil, such as Teresa Cristina, Alcione, Lulu Santos, Dudu Nobre, Zeca Pagodinho and internationals such as Kanye West and Will I Am. The samba singer also has three Latin Grammy nominations.
The night on the top floor of Emiliano Rios could only get better and more special with the view the hotel offers across the shore from Copacabana beach, where the most famous fireworks display in the country takes place, which will last 14 minutes and promises to be even more beautiful than in previous years.
About The Hotel
By valuing the authentic Brazilian hospitality, the Emiliano provides a unique and memorable experience, offering exclusivity and sophistication in every detail: through personalized service, special amenities selection, the exquisite cuisine, cozy, minimalist decor, which combines design pieces and art works, and the great Cocoon piece in the lobby by Brazilian notorious artist Siron Franco.
Every detail is designed to offer more comfort and make you feel at home. A butler team is always attentive to meet and anticipate your needs.
The main pillar of Emiliano Rio is to minimize the negative impact on the planet. The hotel believes that any action can be sustainable and socially responsible, and with this in mind, Emiliano develops a series of actions to minimize these impacts, including the creation of personalized pajamas made from sheets that are no longer in use. All pajamas come with sustainable labels with plantable paper.
Besides, the hotel developed in partnership with Saissu Design beach bags made by hand with towels 100% recycled, with towels that are no longer being used, dyed, cut and sewn by artisans.
