Creativity and community: meet Tiffany & Co.’s new platform
Redação
Creativity, education and community. These are the three central pillars of the Tiffany Atrium, Tiffany & Co.’s new platform, which aims to create a more diverse and inclusive jewelry industry. Through effort, leadership and learning, the platform launched this week is designed to foster connections and create opportunities for historically underrepresented communities.
“Estamos entusiasmados por apresentar a plataforma Tiffany Atrium, criando um ponto centralizado para a nossa jornada contínua no mundo da diversidade, equidade e inclusão".
Anthony Ledru
CEO da Tiffany & Co.
As part of the Atrium’s community pillar, Tiffany & Co. will focus on connecting employees, students and nonprofit leaders to grow and celebrate shared values and the commitment to improving the world we live in. The Tiffany Atrium will continue to partner with nonprofits including Free Arts, Ali Forney Center and Lower East Side Girls Club throughout the year.
The name ‘Atrium’ is inspired by Tiffany’s heart charm necklace, a nod both to the heart and to the central space from which a home is built.
"Na Tiffany & Co., temos a responsabilidade de decretar uma mudança positiva no nosso mundo". A Tiffany Atrium nos permitirá racionalizar e escalar os processos necessários para fazer acontecer.”
Anthony Ledru
CEO da Tiffany & Co.
To mark the launch of Tiffany Atrium, the brand collaborated with American visual artist and community builder Derrick Adams to conceive an original artwork entitled “I Shine, You Shine, We Shine”, which is derived from the Tiffany Atrium logo.
The artworks featured at the event will be auctioned on the Artsy online art marketplace from July 27 – August 10, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting The Last Resort Artist Retreat, an artist residency designed to provide healing and restoration to Black artists and cultural workers founded by Adams in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland
