Monochroma: A New Vision of Lifestyle Through Creativity
The lifestyle brand Monochroma, founded in 2021 by Victoria Sarro and Guilherme Berjeaut, emerges as an innovative proposal that seeks to translate the simplicity of shapes and colors into unique objects and experiences. With its launch on June 3 of last year, Monochroma delighted its consumers with a line of monochromatic candles that combines exclusive fragrances with a carefully crafted design and artisanal production.
The candles, in a “half-moon” shape, were designed for versatile use: separately or together, allowing each consumer to create their own harmonization by combining two of them.
Guilherme Berjeaut, the brand’s founding partner, highlights: “The idea behind the half-moon shape is that everyone can create their own blend by combining two of their favorite fragrances in a four-wick maxi candle. The goal was to create a container shape different from what’s currently available on the market.”
Monochroma’s proposal goes beyond candles, offering monochromatic items ideal for styling spaces and consumers’ daily lives. Victoria Sarro, the brand’s founding partner, emphasizes the timelessness and the ability of monochromatic design to complement interior decor: “What draws us most to monochrome is the fact that it is timeless and does not clash with interior decor; it complements with style. Monochrome has its minimalism, but we will explore it to its fullest.”
Monochroma’s candle line features four exclusive fragrances, especially developed for the brand. Among them are:
White Sand & Salt: A refreshing fragrance evoking the crispness of a sunlit coastal drive, with notes of sea salt, oakmoss, and juniper.
White Citrus: An enveloping sensation that transports us to an orchard brimming with citrus fruits, with notes of bergamot, petitgrain, and orange blossom.
Black Fig: A unique fragrance that evokes the sensation of harvesting fresh figs after a rainy day, with a woody and fruity touch, composed of Spanish fig, green leaves, and black pepper.
Black Chamomile: The delicacy of the chamomile flower combined with the energy of black pomegranate, a fragrance with a unique personality, with woody and fruity notes.
On the brand’s website, consumers have the opportunity to create their own harmonizations by selecting two of the four available fragrances. This combination results in ten different possibilities, allowing for a personalized and exclusive experience.
Additionally, all the candles are handcrafted, from the creation of the fragrances to the assembly of each piece.
