Auroraeco celebrates 25 years with a photographic expedition in Peru

In the year that Auroraeco celebrates 25 years of pioneering adventure expeditions, the operator launches an experience that promises to awaken the soul of every photography lover: the Photographic Journeys in Peru, in partnership with the renowned Bob Wolfenson.

Guilherme Padilha, founding partner of Auroraeco, reveals that this journey, scheduled from September 11 to 17, 2024, will be an in-depth immersion in the landscapes and culture of Peru. “This photographic expedition offers more than technical learning; it’s an opportunity to experience the unique perspective of Wolfenson while we explore scenes that seem carved by time,” says Padilha, who, as a pioneer in bicycle tours in Latin America, has always sought to combine adventure and authenticity.

The itinerary takes us to some of the most iconic locations in the Andean country, such as the mystical Sacred Valley, the majestic Machu Picchu, and the charming colonial city of Cusco. Under Wolfenson’s guidance, participants will capture images that reflect the essence of local communities, the vibrant colors of traditional markets, and the depth of ancestral ceremonies. And between shots, there will be moments to savor authentic Peruvian cuisine. The trip will also be accompanied by the keen eye of Peruvian photographer Diego del Rio, who will document every moment of this journey.

“It will be a unique experience to be in Peru with students, practicing photography with natural light, without the constraints of a studio. I’m very excited about this partnership,” comments Wolfenson. Padilha adds: “Every moment of this journey will be a celebration of Peruvian culture and authenticity, allowing participants to create unique visual narratives. In short, it’s a transformative adventure where every photograph will tell a story and every moment will become an unforgettable memory.”
