The St. Regis New York presents an exclusive partnership with Ladurée for the holiday season
The iconic St. Regis New York celebrates the 2024 holiday season with an unprecedented collaboration with the renowned Parisian pâtisserie Ladurée. The partnership brings to life a custom Christmas tree, a charming festive décor, and a special afternoon tea experience, transporting guests and visitors to a world of charm and sweetness.
Since November 29, those passing by the iconic Fifth Avenue can behold pyramids of the emblematic Ladurée macarons in the hotel’s windows, adorned with golden crowns and elegant Maison packaging. Inside, the festive atmosphere intensifies: the lobby is dressed with sparkling wreaths, velvet bows, and a stunning 12-foot Christmas tree decorated with oversized macarons in shades of gold, cream, and peacock blue. Among dried flowers, colorful ornaments, and bespoke details, the highlight is a majestic blue velvet bow atop the tree. For those wishing to sweeten the moment, a special Ladurée macaron cart will be available—perfect for photo opportunities or securing exclusive gifts.
“We are delighted to welcome Ladurée to The St. Regis New York this festive season,” shares Octavia Marginean-Tahiroglu, General Manager of the hotel. “Visiting The St. Regis during the holidays is a cherished tradition, and there is no more special way to unwind after a day of shopping or sightseeing than with a macaron or afternoon tea in our carefully refreshed spaces.”
Katina Dermatas, CEO of Ladurée US, adds: “We couldn’t have dreamed of a better partner to create this magical atmosphere. Strolling through New York during the holidays is a unique moment—Ladurée and The St. Regis have brought the perfect Upper East Side setting: an enchanting, festive, and sophisticated environment with Parisian flair and the glow of the Gilded Age.”
Special afternoon tea with Ladurée
As part of the collaboration, Ladurée and The St. Regis New York present an exclusive afternoon tea at La Maisonette, the hotel’s new tea salon inspired by the elegant original breakfast room of the 1910s. Under an illuminated ceiling and light-toned walls, the experience celebrates the tradition of afternoon tea with Ladurée’s sophistication, featuring its legendary macarons, Eugénie biscuits, and a curated selection of teas, including the iconic Marie-Antoinette blend.
As part of the celebrations, on December 5, The St. Regis and Ladurée hosted an exclusive event for invited guests. See the full gallery below:
