A meeting hosted by Inc.Beauty, Wilderness, and The Global Nomads reveals how reconnecting with nature is key to finding harmony between the body and mind
On August 13, in São Paulo, Inc.Beauty hosted the first edition of Inc.Experience in partnership with Wilderness, a global reference in luxury hospitality and conservation in Africa, alongside its representative in Brazil, The Global Nomads.
At this exclusive event, Dr. Calu Franco (Inc Beauty), Clara del Castello (Wilderness), and Maria Alice Cavalcanti (The Global Nomads) held an inspiring talk on the new era of regenerative tourism and experiences connecting body, mind, and nature.
The central point of the event was the importance of the connection between humans and nature, discussing how regenerative tourism can be a crucial tool for physical and mental well-being.
“We don’t see levels of diagnosis,” noted Dr. Calu Franco when addressing beauty and longevity. For her, well-being is an ongoing care that begins with a tranquil mind so that body and soul can be in total harmony.
Maria Alice Cavalcanti, from The Global Nomads, detailed Wilderness’s philosophy, which elevates the guest experience to a level of personal connection. For her, through the contact made possible by the service, “We understand that we are part of it, we are nature.” The idea is that contact with remote places—feeling the water, breathing the pure air, and being in silence—leads travelers to return home with renewed energy, more courage, and a new perception of the world.
In order to further enhance their guests’ experience, the company is investing in new facilities, such as treatment rooms, relaxation rooms, aesthetic rooms, exercise rooms, and ice baths. The goal is to ensure that travelers connect not only with nature but also with themselves.
Clara del Castello, from Wilderness, shared how these experiences transformed her own perception, to the point of feeling “insignificant compared to the magnitude of nature.” She also described Wilderness’s sustainable approach to expanding its facilities, with the help of geologists, architects, and conservationists, to understand how to cause as little impact as possible on nature.
At the end of the event, guests participated in a raffle for a two-night voucher for two people, ensuring the winner could experience Wilderness’s transformative journey in Africa.
