Alexandre Birman Fall/Winter 2025 Showroom

The new Alexandre Birman collection unites precision, rich textures and cultural references.

A Lifestyle Mag had exclusive access to the Alexandre Birman showroom in New York for the presentation of the Fall/Winter 2025 collection, a precise study of construction, materiality and technique. With no concessions to excess, the palette remains within a restrained spectrum, exploring deeper tones such as navy, burgundy and caramel. These are colors that do not seek to draw immediate attention but sustain a sophisticated and formal presence, serving as a foundation for the wealth of textures that define the collection.

Handcraftsmanship is evident in every detail. The tressé, meticulously crafted, adds structure and dimension, while suede and leather stand out for their tactile quality and the way they interact with light and movement. The collection proposes a balance between rigid and soft surfaces, exploring contrasts that make each piece more interesting as one observes closely.

For creative director Guilherme Kfouri, the collection is an exercise in curation and identity, where each shoe carries its own narrative. He plays with archetypes and cultural references, linking four models from the collection to the iconic characters of Sex and the City: the Diana for Carrie, the Clarita in pink satin for Charlotte, the formal flat, Lisa, for Miranda, and the Amanda heeled sandal for Samantha.

The comparison extends to another universe: the collection evokes the same aesthetic as the Fasano restaurant in New York. There is a convergence between midcentury rigor and the authenticity of Brazilian essence, a meeting of precision and human warmth. Just as the space translates a balance between eras and influences, the Fall/Winter 2025 by Alexandre Birman presents pieces that move between the classic and the contemporary, without losing the intention behind each detail.
