On October 12, the first edition of the Esfera International Forum began, hosted in Paris and scheduled to conclude this Saturday, the 14th. Organized by Esfera Brasil, an institution that promotes dialogue between Brazil and other nations, the event brings together business leaders and authorities from Brazil and France to discuss the future of their countries and possible forms of collaboration.
João Adibe Marques, president of the pharmaceutical group Cimed, is one of the featured guests at the event. Other renowned speakers include the Brazilian ambassador to France, the president of Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court, a former president of France, a shareholder of the J&F Group, an emeritus Minister of the STF, a member of Carrefour Group’s Board of Directors, and the global CEO of Carrefour, among others.
“I am honored by the invitation to participate in the Esfera International Forum in Paris. This gathering is of utmost importance to us, Brazilian entrepreneurs, who believe in our country. We can come together to share experiences and success stories, as well as draw inspiration from best practices for the development of the Brazilian economy,” explains João Adibe Marques, president of Cimed.
On the 13th, Friday, the event’s program included debates on Brazil-France Economic Perspectives, Legal Certainty, Trade and Retail, and Energy Transition. According to Adibe, the first day of the event was highly productive, highlighted by a lecture from Nicolas Sarkozy, former president of France.
“We, Brazilians, cannot dream small, for our country is great,” emphasizes Adibe.
For the final day of the event, Saturday, panels are planned to discuss topics such as Agribusiness and Sustainability, Brazil Agenda, Industry System vs. MEDEF (Innovation), and Investment Opportunities.
