Oetker Collection inaugurates the first Masterpiece Hotel in the USA

After the recent and successful debut of The Woodward in Geneva and the upcoming opening of Hotel de La Palma in Capri, the Oetker Collection announces The Vineta Hotel, in partnership with Reuben Brothers, the newest launch comprising the brand’s 12th Masterpiece Hotel of the luxury hotel group.
Behind the success of Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, Le Bristol Paris and Eden Rock, the new opening aims to bring the famous European hospitality to the United States. In the heart of Palm Beach, The Vineta Hotel will be surrounded by Florida’s best hotspots. Boutiques, galleries and wonderful restaurants are some of Vineta’s neighbors, and for those who enjoy a seaside dip, the hotel is just minutes from the beach.
With almost 100 years of history, the property where the new launch now sits was originally inaugurated as Lido-Venice during the real estate boom of 1926; shortly after, it was renamed The Vineta and remained so for the next 50 years. After a brief period functioning solely as a condominium in the 1980s, the site became The Chesterfield in 1989.
Now, the site will undergo a complete renovation overseen by Tino Zervudachi to transform the new The Vineta into one of the world’s best hotels. The interior designer is leading the project, which will reduce the number of rooms from 53 to 41; this way, each guest will enjoy more space, natural light and countless areas to make the most of every second of their stay.
The designer’s aim is to create a new environment for guests and visitors, taking extra care to refine the spaces and establish a cosmopolitan aesthetic that brings elements of European design into the United States.
The opening of the new hotel is planned for late 2023, and all its details can be found here.
