The new Bvlgari Spa is a true oasis for the senses. From the moment one crosses the entrance, guests are enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility, where every detail has been carefully designed to provide a unique and unforgettable experience.
Much like the ancient Roman baths, the pool is the centerpiece of the spa experience, and in this magnificent 1,500-square-meter wellness oasis the focal point is the stunning natatio, a 20-meter pool decorated with Bisazza mosaics reminiscent of the floors seen in Rome’s famous Baths of Caracalla—which also serves as inspiration for Bulgari’s Divas’ Dream collection.
At the center of the pool, eight fluted Arabescato marble columns rise majestically, creating an imposing yet serene atmosphere. Two bronze spouts feed the pool, echoing the Morpurgo fountain, forged using the same lost-wax or micro-casting technique employed in ancient Greek statues. The two mosaic niches contain two rare 19th-century terracotta statues representing the allegories of beauty and silence.
To make the atmosphere even more relaxing, a magical, soft, warm, multicolored light filters through the space’s windows. The glass used in the windows was produced using the ancient Venetian glass technique, reinterpreted from the Pantheon’s floor design. The glass also features the iconic Bulgari star in gold leaf, adding a touch of luxury and sophistication to the setting.
The space also features an upper floor with eight treatment rooms elegantly designed by Augustinus Bader. Each room provides a cozy and relaxing environment for the treatments and therapies offered, allowing guests to indulge in a rejuvenating experience. Additionally, you can enjoy the exclusive Spa Suite, equipped with a large ivory onyx bathtub, offering a private retreat for moments of pure relaxation.
For fitness enthusiasts, the Bulgari Spa offers a 24-hour fitness area on the upper floor, equipped with cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment, where visitors can enjoy the renowned training method of the Workshop Gymnasium, created exclusively for Bulgari by fitness specialist Lee Mullins. The venue also houses a small hair salon, with two styling booths, led by the star hair stylist, Roberto D’Antonio.
