New in: Sant Ambroeus in East Hampton

Redação

Known for its unique flavors and first-class hospitality, Sant Ambroeus opens its newest location in East Hampton, bringing its legacy and excellence to the area’s residents.

The kitchen of the new restaurant will be led by chef Miguel Gutierrez, a Sant Ambroeus veteran who began his journey 17 years ago as a dishwasher in the West Village and worked his way up to Executive Chef.

The menu offers a variety of new dishes created by Culinary Director Iacopo Falai and Andrea Pancani, Sant Ambroeus’s Corporate Chef, who drew inspiration from East Hampton’s local ingredients. The classics will also be featured—Spaghetti al Pomodoro, Cotoletta Alla Milanese, traditional salads, and the delicious seafood, which remains a highlight.

The delightful menu will also feature Italian wines from Tuscany, Sicily, and Piedmont, as well as a selection of French and American labels, plus an array of biodynamic and natural options.

The new space was designed by Studio Robert McKinley, known for planning other Sant Ambroeus restaurants. The inspirations for East Hampton were the seaside spirit and local architecture.

With elegant yet casual elements, the space reflects Studio Robert McKinley’s long partnership with Sant Ambroeus, featuring coastal references and East Hampton’s local architectural styles, drawing a perfect parallel between the Italian summer and the dunes of the Hamptons.

For those already planning a visit, the new location will be open every day for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the famous weekend brunch, which has become a trademark of Sant Ambroeus. For reservations and more information, just click here.
