Oetker Collection reveals its newest masterpiece hotel
The Oetker Collection, known for its exceptional properties, announces a new chapter in its story with the arrival of its 13th Masterpiece Hotel in St. Tropez. Scheduled to open in 2027, the hotel promises to be a haven of elegance, conceived as an interconnected Provençal village, in full harmony with nature.
With an architectural design by the renowned Franco-Brazilian studio Triptyque and interiors crafted by the acclaimed Gilles & Boissier, the hotel will be an invitation to the essential, exalting the Mediterranean essence. Located on the former grounds of the iconic Le Mas Bellevue, the property will be strategically positioned between the charm of the city of St. Tropez and the stunning beaches of Pampelonne in Ramatuelle.
Design with the Soul of St. Tropez
Imagined as a true sanctuary, the hotel will feature 53 rooms and suites, all with private terraces or patios. The surroundings will be enveloped by landscaped gardens, olive trees, and an infinity pool that offers breathtaking views of the sea. Inspired by sophisticated simplicity, every detail has been conceived to create an immersive sensory experience where architecture, design, and nature coexist in perfect harmony.
Olivier Raffaëlli, founding partner of Triptyque, describes the property as “a place where the soul of St. Tropez comes alive. The landscape, with its stones, wood, and Mediterranean vegetation, blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating an intimate and authentic atmosphere.”
Meanwhile, Dorothée Boissier of Gilles & Boissier compares the experience to the lightness of a sailboat, saying: “Everything here is close, as if the sea could caress your face. The hotel’s philosophy is simple: ‘What you have is all you need.’”
A commitment to relaxed glamour
Following in the footsteps of the newly opened Hotel La Palma in Capri, and the upcoming Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach, the new property reinforces the Oetker Collection’s commitment to the world’s most glamorous destinations. As Timo Gruenert, CEO of the Oetker Collection pointed out: “St. Tropez represents everything our guests love: authenticity, sophistication, and that unmistakable touch of relaxed glamour. We are creating an unparalleled retreat that combines the region’s elegance with the legendary hospitality of the Oetker Collection.”
A heritage of excellence
Since 1872, the Oetker Collection has preserved its legacy of offering unparalleled hospitality. Its portfolio includes icons such as Le Bristol Paris, Palácio Tangará in São Paulo, Eden Rock – St. Barths, and Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, reaffirming its presence in the most coveted destinations around the world.
The new hotel in St. Tropez will be more than just accommodation; it will be an invitation to discover the true spirit of the Mediterranean, where every moment is a celebration of simplicity and natural beauty.
In 2027, St. Tropez will have yet another reason to shine – and for us to dream.
