Sparkling Trip: Veuve Clicquot and Belmond launch train journeys to toast around the world

Redação

Celebrating 250 years of history, the Veuve Clicquot launches unique experiences in partnership with Belmond, offering an elegant and sophisticated train journey to toast in different places around the world, such as Southeast Asia, Europe, and Peru.

The pair of LVMH brands has previously collaborated on a train journey from France to Italy and now innovates once again with the “Solaire Journeys,” an adventure divided into three parts on Belmond’s iconic trains: the Eastern & Oriental Express in Asia; the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in Europe; and the Hiram Bingham and Andean Explorer in South America. Passengers are invited to enjoy the most beautiful landscapes and traverse breathtaking scenery in celebration of Veuve Clicquot’s anniversary and another year of daring and optimism from the Champagne maison.

The first adventure takes place from April 22 to 25, departing from Singapore to Malaysia. It begins with a champagne-filled brunch overlooking Marina Bay, after which passengers board the Eastern & Oriental Express, traveling through lush jungle to the island of Penang. Beyond the magnificent scenery, the train itself is a spectacle.

The second part of the journey is scheduled for July 4 to 6 and begins in Austria, with two days of culture and gastronomy in Vienna before concluding in France. Here, travelers board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and head to Veuve Clicquot’s home to sample the region’s finest wines and champagnes. The experience culminates with a dinner crafted by Michelin-starred chefs Mory Sacko and Jean Imbert.

To wrap up in style, Veuve Clicquot is offering for the first time a five-night expedition aboard two Belmond trains, scheduled for October 21 to 26. In this final leg, passengers will travel from bustling Cusco through the Sacred Valley to the land of the Incas, discovering ancient sites and Peru’s natural wonders.
