Veuve Clicquot inspires female entrepreneurs in leadership panel
Edição 2025 de ‘Bold Conversations by vieve clicquot’ realizada em São Paulo reuniu cerca de 60 mulheres empreendedoras
With the aim of encouraging and inspiring women entrepreneur leaders, the international project of the Maison de champagne Veuve Clicquot took place on September 16 at the Vista Ibirapuera restaurant, and featured two panels and a masterclass. The event included around 60 women business owners at various stages of development.
Moderated by Cris Guterres, the panels addressed the theme “Leadership with courage and emotional intelligence” and brought together women who are references in the fields of sustainability, recruitment, fashion, hospitality and female entrepreneurship.
The first panel, themed “Think BOLD,” featured the participation of Bold Woman winner Marcella Zambardino and 2024 Bold Future Award winner Mariana Torres, founder of Diversa Jobs, who discussed how boldness and innovation can help open new pathways in business. The guests shared how the gathering held this year in France brought together winners from different parts of the world. “We saw that we are not alone and that many of the dilemmas we face are the same ones experienced by other entrepreneurs,” stated Mariana. Catherine Petit, general manager of Moët Hennessy in Brazil, also took part, highlighting the richness of the networking provided by the Bold platform: “It’s inspiring to see the legacy of Veuve Clicquot inspiring so many women in business,” she added.
“I owe my career to the excellent relationships I have maintained throughout this journey,” shared Melissa Fernandes, who has been in the hospitality sector for 25 years and is now heading Teresa Perez Turismo. The entrepreneur took part in the second panel alongside Lenny Niemeyer, owner of a swimwear brand for 25 years, who shared how to rejuvenate the brand without losing its DNA. “I respect the ideas of the style team, much younger than me, but I always emphasize how we must preserve our style,” she shared.

To close the edition, Renata Rivetti, a specialist in the science of happiness, spoke about “the power of happiness and emotional intelligence in business.” Renata encouraged the guests to reflect on their purposes and how to find satisfaction at work. “If tomorrow we were no longer here, what would we want to have been written about us? What legacy do we leave behind?” she challenged.
The themes chosen for the program were based on the findings of the Female Entrepreneurship Barometer, a study conducted by Veuve Clicquot in Brazil in 2023, inspired by the International Barometer carried out globally by the Maison in 2019 and 2022. “Gatherings like BOLD Conversations help women gain courage and boldness, avoiding the ‘impostor syndrome’ that still affects many of us,” said Catherine Petit, general manager of Moët Hennessy in Brazil.
