“And just like that…”: get to know the series’ hotspots

Redação

It’s no secret that Sex and the City shaped an entire generation, left an indescribable legacy for New York City, and served as a guide to various hotspots around the city where Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha enjoyed the very best the city had to offer.

In 2021, the series returned with the revival “And Just Like That…”, which brings the group of friends discussing more mature topics and issues that many women face as the years go by.

However, the series still serves as a great guide to places to explore and frequent in New York City. That’s why we’ve created our list of the best hotspots from “And Just Like That…”

Sant Ambroeus

We’ve already talked about Sant Ambroeus here, and you probably already know it’s one of the city’s top restaurants. However, it’s at the Madison Avenue Sant Ambroeus that Carrie Bradshaw gathers Miranda and Charlotte for lunch and reveals her plans to sell the apartment she shared with Big before his death.

Historic

As the name suggests, Storico is an Italian café and restaurant located inside the New-York Historical Society building. This is the spot Charlotte chooses to meet her new friend Lisa Todd Wexley for an afternoon chat.

Freehold

Many know Freehold as a very popular nightclub, but during the day the venue transforms into a café and workspace with a more relaxed atmosphere. It’s in this café that Carrie tells her friends about the delicate hip surgery she’ll need to undergo.

Bistrot Leo

Bistrot Leo is considered a glamorous French gem inside the Sixty Soho hotel. It’s in this restaurant that Carrie laments to her friends the purchase of her new ultramodern, sun-drenched seaside apartment during a brunch there.
